This picture of my son, Jaron, was taken in 1998! Halbertcicles are fun and safe for children of all ages. I believe it is good for children to learn that the mystery and magic in life is God’s work, to learn to be grateful for it when it shows up, and to graciously accept that we are nonetheless in God’s good hands even when we don’t get what we want. Of course, there are many ways that we can ask for the mysterious magic of God's love to show up in our lives and our homes. Halbertcicles are an excellent way for us to learn to be faithful and trusting because most of the time they don’t grow (not even for Halbert).
